Williamsburg has been home to Lina since she was a child, she grew up right around the corner from where the couple now lives. And it's also the neighborhood where they had their first date – they went to neighborhood hot-spot Marlow & Sons (apparently it still is a hot spot because we saw Adrian Grenier waiting for a table when we shot there!). Because the neighborhood is such an important place for the couple, we decided to center the engagement shoot around all the important places in their corner of Brooklyn. We started off at their house, which is filled with nods to Lina's Columbia heritage and testiments to Challie's love of design, we swung by the site of their first date (where they had a glass of champagne), and ended with a walk over the bridge, where Challie goes running a few times of week. And of course, we had to include their Vespa – the best way to get around Brooklyn! (Oh and the other member of the family is sweet Tomasito!) If the laughs we shared at their engagement shoot were any indication, the wedding is going to be a blast!
