I have a thing for Polish people. Not only I have a few great Polish friends back in NYC, but my mentor -one of the top 10 best wedding photographers in the World- is also from Poland. So I do have an admiration for their culture and every time I came across one person from Polska I receive them with an open heart.
Kelly and Henry contacted me while I was still living in Oakland, and we met shortly after that. We hit it off right away, but I didn't realize she had a Polish background until the wedding day. Duh... I know. When the getting ready started I met her parents and instantly felt that connection. I felt the Polska power!
It all started at Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa in Sausalito. I was a little skeptical at first with the light situation, but the rooms were beautifully lit and very ample to play with different lenses. Not to mention the ridiculous amazing view of Sausalito. Just stunning.
Right after that we did a little hiking and took some beautiful shots with natural light and again with a glorious background. Shortly afterwards we went to Henry's father house were the ceremony and reception took place. I was glad to meet them and their friends and this is were all the love just exploded. I always look for great situations to shoot, and this was pretty overwhelming. There was so much love in the air and so much fun. I hope you enjoy the images.
